Hello from Oklahoma
Oklahoma Society Daughters of the American Revolution, OSDAR, is a non-profit service organization. We are part of National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) and promote education, patriotism, and historic preservation.
Oklahoma is proud to have 45 chapters and over 3,000 members. We have served Oklahoma for over 100 years and continue to grow stronger and larger every year. We honor our veterans, provide programs for Oklahoma students, offer scholarships to high school and college students, and recognize Oklahoma volunteers and citizens that have made this state great. We work closely with schools, communities, and civic leaders to recognize and bring to the forefront historical places and stories. We have many programs such as conservation, Americanism, US flag, literacy promotion, and women’s issues, just to name a few. How about joining us? Do you have a Revolutionary ancestor or always wondered if you did? We have experienced genealogists ready to lead you on a historic journey. DAR will provide an opportunity for you to serve your community, Oklahoma, and the nation. |
